Improving Passing Precision

Accurate passing is essential for maintaining possession and creating scoring opportunities. Begin with short passes to a stationary target, like a cone or a wall. Focus on proper technique: keep your ankle locked, use the inside of your foot, and follow through toward your target. Gradually increase the distance as your consistency improves.

To train for game-like situations, practice one-touch passing with a partner. Position yourselves about 5-10 meters apart and aim for quick, controlled exchanges. Add a moving target or introduce defenders to simulate pressure. Use drills like rondos, where one or two players in the center attempt to intercept passes from the surrounding players. This improves not only your passing accuracy but also your decision-making under pressure.
